JC Gubbins graduated from UCD in with a BA Degree in Economics
In 1995 he formed JC Gubbins Auctioneers and began to specialise in Commercial/Development land sales and valuation work. In 2001 he merged his company with O’Connor Murphy to form O’Connor Murphy Gubbins who over the next number of years grew to be the largest single property consultancy firm in the mid west region, forming a strategic alliance with Hamilton Osborne King until they were bought out by Savills.
JC specialises in the Capital Market Sectors and Niche Resource Solutions and has been actively involved in advising clients in significant commercial/retail & residential schemes in the Mid West. He has been involved in commercial acquisition/sales activity work throughoutIreland, theUKand Mainland Europe.
JC advises and has long standing relationships with, Bank of Ireland,Ulster Bank, ACC Bank, Bank of Scotland,AIB Bank and NAMA among others. Much of this work currently comprises asset work out strategy and specialist relocation solutions.
JC has undertaken significant property related insolvency work with and on behalf of a number of the larger practices including KPMG, Deloitte, BDO, Grant Thornton and Horwath Bastow Charleton & HLB McKeogh Gallagher Ryan.
